AustraliaACID Carbon Hybrid crank arms (ISIS) supplied on certain Cube e-bikes are affected — left #30884 and right #30885 in 160 mm, 165 mm, 170 mm and 175 mm lengths. The aluminium inserts may suddenly detach from the carbon crank body, creating a risk of serious injury or death if the crank fails while riding. Stop using the e-bike immediately and return it to the place of purchase or an authorised Cube Bicycle distributor for a free repair; contact Pedal Group (07 3726 0163 or warranty@pedalgroup.com) for more information.

The hazard
The aluminium inserts from the carbon on the crank arms may suddenly detach from the crank body.
Risk of serious injury or death if the crank fails while in use and causes the rider to crash the bicycle.
What to do
1. Stop using the e-bike immediately.
2. Return the e-bike to the place of purchase or an authorised Cube Bicycle distributor for a free repair. Cube Bicycle is offering two repair options:
a) receive temporary aluminium cranks, which will be upgraded to carbon replacements when available in 12 months; or
b) receive permanent aluminium cranks and a free e-bike light.
