The hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire because it does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The neutral and ISOD pins were below permitted tolerances, which could lead to the plug failing to make a secure connection with the socket, overheating and/or exploding. Improvements are also required to product documentation and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
