Achilles ATR Sport 2 tires in sizes 245/50ZR20, 245/45ZR17, 225/55ZR18, 295/25ZR21, and 205/45ZR17 are affected; they are identified by Tire Identification Numbers (TINs) that are too long to be registered. The tires were recalled because the overly long TINs fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 574, and without registration owners may not receive recall notices, increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and provide a refund for the purchase price as necessary free of charge; owner letters were mailed January 20, 2026, and owners may contact TBC Quality Assurance at 1-800-739-7698.
