The hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as it has been found to contain hydroquinone, which is a skin sensitiser and may cause allergic contact dermatitis. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.
