CanadaVarious roasted pistachios (Barbeque, Salty, Lemon, Saffron, Sour Lemon Salted, Salted, Sour Lemon, Lemon Salted, Semi Salted and similar clerk‑served varieties) sold online and at Fresh Nuts (Edmonton AB), Saadi Nuts (Ottawa ON), Go Nuts (Ottawa ON) and other outlets between April 8 and October 30, 2025 are affected; these products have no UPCs and were sold in variable sizes. The CFIA investigation and test results found possible Salmonella contamination, prompting the recall by Fresh Nuts Inc., Saadi Nuts, Go Nuts, 9388‑8600 Québec Inc. and Shiraz Foods. Do not consume, serve, sell or distribute recalled products; throw them out or return them to the place of purchase and contact your healthcare provider if you think you became sick after consuming a recalled product.

The hazard
The food recall warning issued on 2025-11-03 has been updated to include additional product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s food safety investigation.
The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination.
