What's being recalled
During the product monitoring process, it was found that part of the tire tread was covered with a layer of sidewall rubber, approximately 0.2 mm thick, which may reduce the tire's grip. Tires of the aforementioned sizes/patterns manufactured between Week 1 and Week 27 of 2025. Total 3,098 Units:1,157 (120/80-12 55J TT93GP PRO MEDIUM-SOFT), 759 (120/80-12 55J TT93GP PRO MEDIUM), 1,182 (100/90-12 49J TT93FGP PRO)
Made in: Japan.
The hazard
During the tread forming process, due to equipment abnormalities, sidewall rubber overflowed onto the tread area, resulting in an additional layer of sidewall rubber approximately 0.2 mm thick covering the tread. This may reduce tire grip. While this issue does not cause significant impact under normal road conditions-and the grip will return to the manufacturer's intended design standard once the surface rubber wears off after some use-when used on race tracks, the initial grip performance of the tire will not meet the intended design standard. Under aggressive riding conditions, this may significantly increase the risk of loss of control or tip-over.
Injuries: No injury reported
