The affected product is the FAI TOP High Pressure Washer Gun (black, model GJA0025-A01) sold with five different nozzles via Amazon. It was withdrawn because with the needle/pencil jet nozzle the trigger-to-nozzle distance is 112 mm instead of the required 750 mm, placing the hand too close to the high‑pressure jet and increasing risk of tissue injury; documentation improvements are also required and it does not meet the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008. Owners should stop using it immediately, contact the distributor for redress, and note the listing has been removed from Amazon.

The hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries because when fitted with the needle jet (pencil jet) nozzle, the distance between the trigger and the nozzle is below the minimum safety requirement, measuring only 112 mm instead of the required 750 mm. This means that during use, the hand will be very close to the high‑pressure jet. This increases the likelihood of accidental contact with the jet stream, resulting in tissue damage and injuries. Improvements are also required to the product documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
