Light-blue or otherwise low-visibility baby floats sold via TikTok — those that are predominantly light-blue, transparent, translucent, pastel, or low-contrast in appearance — are affected. They were recalled because their low-visibility colours can make it difficult for caregivers or lifeguards to quickly locate a child in the water, presenting a risk of drowning; TikTok has recalled the products from end users and removed listings, and consumers are advised to stop using them immediately, keep them out of reach of children, and contact the distributor for redress.
