The affected product is a grey soft toy in the shape of a monkey, sold as “23 cm cute plush gorilla toy, cartoon simulation” (type 2-gl-gychimpanzee-001; barcode 2510230138357; batch 2-Toys-001), packaged vacuum-sealed in a plastic bag. It was recalled because its small eye parts may detach and its seams are weak, exposing fibrous stuffing, both posing a choking risk to small children and not complying with the Toy Safety Directive and EN 71-1. The product has been withdrawn from the market and is being recalled from consumers (voluntary).
