Handheld metal anti-stress/fidget toy sold under the SPYSTAR brand and marked “Fidget Toy”, type/model SY01-1, batch 02, supplied in a black hard plastic box (10 x 8.5 x 4 cm) and made in the People’s Republic of China, is affected. It was withdrawn because it releases too much nickel (measured up to 1.5 µg/cm2/week), a strong sensitiser that can cause allergic reactions, and it does not comply with the REACH Regulation.

The hazard
