Salem Foods brand ground spices and spice blends in various 200 g packages (and one 185 g package) are affected — examples include Allspice (200 g, UPC 8 25685 00155), Ground Coriander (185 g, UPC 8 25685 00159 9), Ground Cinnamon (200 g, UPC 8 25685 00185 8) and Ground Black Pepper (200 g, UPC 8 25685 00154 4), plus other listed products with the stated UPCs and codes where wheat and/or mustard are not declared. The recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency testing that found these products may contain undeclared wheat and mustard. Do not consume, serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products if you are allergic, sensitive or have celiac disease; recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where purchased.
