The serial number is printed on the rating plate sticker, located on the reverse of the television. If the reverse cannot be accessed, check the plug instead. If the wording YR-308 is present on the plug, the product is affected.

The hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as the plug’s fuse does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1362. A compliant, correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Should a fault occur, the plug may overheat and catch fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
