The Viessmann Vitorondens 200‑T / 222‑F and Vitoladens 300‑T (33 kW) oil condensing boilers with Vitoflame 300 blue‑flame burner are being recalled after testing found some 2021–2023 boilers may ignite late, causing pressure damage and possible carbon monoxide leaks that present a high risk of asphyxiation. Veissmann has notified affected end users and installers; affected users will receive a replacement ignition module and burner control unit and either a CO detector with shut‑off function or conversion of the burner to the current series configuration with a pressure sensor.
