10.1-inch center stack screens installed in 2024–2026 Ford Ranger vehicles during service may lose power and fail to display the rearview camera image. Ford recalled these screens because a non-displaying rearview camera image means the vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111, rear visibility, which increases crash risk. The remedy is under development; interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 5, 2026, owners can contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332 (Ford recall 26C42) and VINs were searchable on NHTSA.gov on September 25, 2026.
