2025-2026 Alta travel trailers recall: Incorrect GVWR and CCC information on Label/FMVSS 110

2025–2026 Alta travel trailers are affected; the Federal Placard label may list an incorrect axle capacity, which causes the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) to be miscalculated. Forest River recalled the trailers because the incorrect GVWR and CCC could allow overloading and increase crash risk. Dealers will replace the label free of charge; owner letters were mailed November 19, 2025, and owners can call Forest River at 1-574-264-6664 (recall number 501-1994).
