2025–2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles are affected; the emergency stop switch at the turntable is inoperative when the upper controls interlock is active and can allow the upper and lower controls to remain powered when the emergency stop is depressed. Altec says this increases the risk of injury and will notify owners to inspect for an adapter harness — if present owners should notify Altec and take no further action, if absent Altec will provide a free repair kit; owner letters were mailed June 9, 2026, and Altec can be reached at 1-877-462-5832 (CSN-3307).
