2025-2027 Cadillac OPTIQ recall: Window automatic reversal system Malfunction/FMVSS 118

2025–2027 Cadillac OPTIQ vehicles are affected. They were recalled because when closed using the key fob’s express-up function, the front windows may fail to detect an obstruction and reverse, which fails to meet FMVSS 118 and can increase the risk of pinching; dealers or an over‑the‑air update will update the body control module software free of charge, owner letters are expected to be mailed November 9, 2026, and Cadillac can be contacted at 1-800-458-8006 (GM recall N262567230).

What's being recalled

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025-2027 Cadillac OPTIQ vehicles. When closed using the key fob's express-up function, the front windows may fail to detect an obstruction and reverse direction.
