2026 Model Y recall: Front suspension lateral link may separate

Certain 2026 Tesla Model Y vehicles (NHTSA campaign 26V558000, Tesla SB-26-31-004) are affected. One or more front suspension lateral link fasteners may not have been properly tightened, allowing the lateral link to loosen or separate from the sub-frame and potentially shift wheel alignment, which can cause loss of vehicle control and increase crash risk. Tesla Service will tighten or replace the fasteners, check wheel alignment, and replace any related damaged parts free of charge; owner letters are expected to be mailed October 30, 2026 and Tesla can be reached at 1-877-798-3752.
