2026 Rogue recall: Instrument panel may fail to display selected Gear/FMVSS 102

Certain 2026 Nissan Rogue vehicles may have an instrument panel that does not display the transmission gear selection indicator. Nissan recalled them because the missing indicator means the vehicles do not comply with FMVSS 102 and could allow unintended vehicle movement or rollaway, increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and replace the transmission control valve assembly as needed free of charge; owner letters were mailed August 31, 2026, and owners may call Nissan at 800-647-7261 (recall PD198).
