The affected product is the Adeytos “Wood Carving Disc”, a circular saw wood carving disc equipped with a chainsaw chain as an attachment for angle grinders (sold in a blister pack, barcode 6542186515564). It was recalled because it may be mounted on an angle grinder and, contrary to its intended use, could be used as a hand‑held circular saw causing kickback or loss of control and injuries, and it does not comply with the Machinery Directive. The product is being recalled from consumers and withdrawn from the market by distributors (compulsory).

The hazard
