The Hayami attachment for brush cutter (Trimmer Head, type/model KL-25-46, barcode 5952310600003), a flail‑type cutting attachment with two metal chains sold in a cardboard box, is affected. It was recalled because bolts or rivets attaching the chains could break, allowing the chains to detach during use and hit the user causing injuries, and because it does not comply with the Machinery Directive nor Commission Decision 2012/32/EU. Product recall from consumers and product withdrawal from the market are compulsory (distributor).

The hazard
