AGA and La Cornue freestanding dual fuel ranges (including La Cornue CornuFé LAC1 and Albertine LAC9, and AGA Mercury AMC48DF/AMC36DF and Elise AEL481DF/AEL361DF, various sizes) manufactured March 19, 2025–July 24, 2026 are recalled; model and serial are on the rating plate under the storage drawer and can be checked at lacornueusa.com/testcap-recall or agarangeusa.com/testcap-recall. They were recalled because a gas manifold testing component may be missing, which can allow a gas leak from the test port and create a fire hazard. The hazard

Certain recalled range cookers may be missing a gas manifold testing component. While not required for normal operation, the component is needed during installation pressure testing. If it is missing, gas can leak from the test port when connected to a gas supply, creating a fire hazard.

As of August 14, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.
