AiRMEZ disposable electronic cigarette consisting of three 15 ml pods (45 ml total) sold as “8 ADJUSTABLE FLAVORS, 8in1, 160000 puffs” and types/models such as BINGO CRUSH, TRIPLE MANGO, MIXED BERRIES, etc., with barcodes 5061102600906, 5061102600944 and 5061102601064 is affected. It was recalled because it contains an excessive volume of nicotine-containing liquid (45 ml), which could lead to accidental consumption of a high dose of nicotine; the product does not comply with the Tobacco Products Directive. Retailers are required to destroy the product.

The hazard
The product has an excessive volume of nicotine-containing liquid (45 ml). This could lead to the accidental consumption of a high dose of nicotine. Nicotine is acutely toxic and can endanger the user’s safety, notably if the product comes into contact with the skin or is ingested.
The product does not comply with the requirements of the Tobacco Products Directive.
