Resmed Astral 150 ventilators (model/catalogue numbers 27073 and 27003) are affected; affected units have lot or serial numbers with more than 10 numbers — contact the manufacturer to check your unit. An internal supercapacitor may leak electrolyte and, in rare cases, damage circuitry on the ventilator’s printed circuit board assembly causing the ventilator to enter a fail‑safe state and be unable to deliver therapy; alternative ventilation must be provided. Contact the manufacturer for additional information.
