A transparent cosmetic bag made of soft PVC, sold in plastic packaging and labeled “Cosmetic bag” (type/model JE2076102) originating from China is affected. It was withdrawn from the market because it contains an excessive concentration of cadmium (measured value 0.02% by weight), which accumulates in the body, can damage kidneys and bones and may cause cancer; the product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
