It was recalled because a lack of earthing and a plug that can be partially inserted may leave a live pin or accessible live parts exposed, presenting an electric shock risk; it does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive or EN 60335-1. The product has been withdrawn from the market and marketing is banned (compulsory for distributors).
