An extendable decorative icicle-style LED lighting chain (Karácsonyi jégcsap égősor, model DN-75, barcode 8595563688885) with 125 non-replaceable blue LEDs, transparent insulated wires and a small white rectifier unit is affected. It was recalled because insulation is insufficient, active wires can protrude and be touched, and the mains plug pins and insulating sleeve are inadequate, creating an electric shock risk; it does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive or EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-20. The product is being recalled from consumers, withdrawn from the market and marketing is banned.

The hazard
The product's insulation is insufficient. and active elemental wires protrude and are directly accessible. Additionally, the mains plug pins are undersized and the insulating sleeve length is insufficient. The user could touch live parts and receive an electric shock.
