Electrical United Kingdom Recall of product from end users

Specialized Turbo Como IGH, Como SL IGH and Vado IGH Chain Guards for E-Bikes recall

Specialized Turbo Como IGH, Como SL IGH and Vado IGH chain guards fitted to multiple Specialized e‑bike models purchased between 2019 and 2024 are affected; e‑bikes with a rear derailleur are not affected. The guards were recalled because loose clothing may become entrapped in the drivetrain, risking falls and injury. Owners should check the images and product list on Specialized’s website (https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/27-march-2025-safety-notice) and, if their bike is affected, make a service appointment with an Authorised Specialized retailer to have an updated chain guard fitted free of charge.
