It was recalled because it lacks sufficient insulation, live wires are easily accessible and the mains plug does not meet dimensional requirements, creating a risk of electric shock; it does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive or EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-20. The distributor has been ordered to recall the product from consumers, withdraw it from the market and stop marketing it.
