Certain 2025–2026 Chevrolet Corvette models — including ZR1X Coupe and Convertible, E-Ray Coupe and Convertible, and Corvette Coupe and Convertible — are affected; owners can confirm if their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included on NHTSA.gov. A lighting control module software error may prevent detection of a rear turn signal light failure, causing noncompliance with FMVSS 108 and increasing the risk of a crash if the driver is unaware the signal is not working. Dealers will update the lighting control module software or the update will be sent over-the-air free of charge; owner letters are scheduled to be mailed May 18, 2026, and owners may call Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020 (GM recall N252541250).
