Certain 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles may not have received an owner’s manual; VINs involved are searchable on NHTSA.gov (NHTSA campaign 25V815000). They were recalled because missing owner’s manuals cause the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 225, “Child Restraint Anchorage Systems,” and may increase the risk of injury. Dealers will provide the owner’s manual free of charge; owner notification letters were mailed December 30, 2025, and Chevrolet customer service can be reached at 1-800-222-1020 (GM recall N252532020).
