Motor tricycles sold under the CAN‑AM brand by Bombardier Recreational Products — specifically 2024–2027 Can‑Am SPYDER RT and SPYDER F3, and 2025–2026 Can‑Am ORIGIN and PULSE, and 2025–2027 Can‑Am CANYON — are affected. When using a USB or Bluetooth connection the instrument cluster could reset, freeze, or go blank, preventing display of speedometer, warning/malfunction tell‑tales and possibly disabling turn signals and hazard lights. BRP will notify owners and send a wireless over‑the‑air software update, or you may schedule the update at a BRP dealership.
How to identify it

2024–2027 Can-Am SPYDER F3
2025–2026 Can-Am ORIGIN
2025–2026 Can-Am PULSE

The hazard
Under certain conditions, when using a USB or Bluetooth connection, the instrument cluster could reset, freeze, or go blank. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Additionally, during the cluster reset, the turn signals and hazard lights may not work.
Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes. Hazard lamps that don't work could make the vehicle less visible. These issues could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
BRP will notify owners in writing and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the instrument cluster software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a BRP dealership.
