The fuel system mounting and the material for the fuel tank cage may not meet Canadian requirements, which could allow fuel to leak in a crash and create a fire risk. DTNA will notify owners by mail and advise taking the bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to modify the fuel tank area.

The hazard
On certain buses, the mounting of the fuel system and the material for the fuel tank cage may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. As a result, fuel could leak in a crash.

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a DTNA authorized service facility to modify the fuel tank area.
