2025 Ducati PANIGALE V2 and 2025–2026 Ducati STREETFIGHTER V2 motorcycles are affected; owners can identify them by model and year. They were recalled because ABS pump and control unit fuses may not have been installed correctly, which can cause the ABS fuse to blow, display an “ABS error” message and warning light, and allow a front or rear wheel to lock up. Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise taking the motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the ABS fuses and fuse holders.
How to identify it
2025 Ducati PANIGALE V2
2025–2026 Ducati STREETFIGHTER V2
The hazard
On certain motorcycles, the fuses for the antilock braking system (ABS) pump and control unit may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the ABS pump fuse could blow and cause the ABS not to work. If this happens, the front or rear wheel could lock up while riding.
Note: This problem would cause an "ABS error" warning message and an ABS warning light to be displayed in the instrument cluster.
A wheel that locks up suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash and/or injury.
What to do
Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the ABS fuses and fuse holders.
