Electric vacuum cleaner (washing type) Carpet Rinse Cleaner (Kärcher) model Puzzi 8/1 C, model numbers 1.100-212.0, 1.100-224.0 and 1.100-229.0 (made in Italy; manufactured from Oct 2009–Sep 2021 depending on model) is affected. It was recalled because the cleaning water pump may continue running if the unit is left plugged in and the pump is not switched off, which can lead to abnormal overheating and, in the worst case, fire. The hazard
It was found that if the product is left plugged in and the cleaning water pump is not switched off after use, the cleaning water pump may continue operating for an extended period, resulting in abnormal overheating due to prolonged energization and, in the worst case, may cause a fire.
