Certain 2025 ESCAPE Trailer RV models—ESCAPE 19, ESCAPE 21, ESCAPE 5.0 and ESCAPE 17—are affected; look for these model names on your trailer documents or identification. The spare tire carrier may not have been manufactured properly and could break, allowing the spare tire to fall from the trailer and create a crash hazard. Escape Trailers will notify owners by mail and provide a new spare tire carrier and installation instructions; they advise not to tow the trailer until the recall repairs are completed.

The hazard
On certain RV trailers, the spare tire carrier may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the carrier could break and the spare tire could fall from the trailer.
A spare tire that falls from the trailer could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Escape Trailers will notify owners by mail and provide you with a new spare tire carrier and instructions for how to install it. Escape Trailer advises not tow your RV trailer until the recall repairs have been completed.
