2025 Ferrari 296 GTB and 2026 Ferrari 296 GTS vehicles are affected. The nut securing the oil filter to the turbocharger may not have been tightened properly, which can allow oil to leak onto hot engine components and create a fire risk. Ferrari advises not to drive the vehicle until repairs are completed; owners will be notified by mail and told to contact a dealer to arrange towing so the dealer can inspect and, if necessary, tighten the oil filter connection nut.
