2024–2025 Fiat 500e vehicles sold by FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES in Canada are affected; they can be identified by model year and name Fiat 500e. Certain vehicles were built without plugs over the horizontal headlamp adjusters, allowing the headlamps to be adjusted horizontally, which is not permitted under Canadian regulations and could cause reduced visibility or glare for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash. FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to install plugs over the headlamp adjustment screws.
How to identify it
2024–2025 Fiat 500e
The hazard
On certain vehicles, plugs were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally. Canadian regulations don't allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built-in aiming device.
Headlamps that aren't properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility and/or glare for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install plugs over the headlamp adjustment screws.
