2026 Ram 1500 recall: lights and instruments

2026 Ram 1500 pickup trucks equipped with premium headlamp assemblies are affected. The headlamp assemblies could cause the parking lamps and daytime running lights (DRLs) to not work or to flicker, meaning the vehicles may not meet Canadian regulations and could be less visible to other road users. FCA Canada will notify owners to take their vehicle to a dealership for inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the headlamp assemblies.

How to identify it

2026 Ram 1500

The hazard

On certain vehicles, the headlamp assemblies could cause the parking lamps and daytime running lights (DRLs) not to work, or to flicker. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.

Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with premium headlamp assemblies.

Parking lamps and/or daytime running lights (DRLs) that don't work properly could make the vehicle less visible to other road users. This could increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, replace the headlamp assemblies.
