Canada2024 Dodge HORNET and 2024 Dodge TONALE SUVs by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (brands Dodge and Alfa Romeo) are affected; they can be identified by the model year and name. They were recalled because the brake pedal could fail while braking, preventing you from applying the brakes and increasing the risk of a crash. FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to reinforce the brake pedal arm.

The hazard
On certain vehicles, the brake pedal could fail while braking. If this happens, you would not be able to apply the brakes.

A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reinforce the brake pedal arm.
