2025 Lincoln CORSAIR SUVs (Lincoln, Ford) are affected — owners can identify them by the 2025 Lincoln CORSAIR model. The rear combination lamps may have been damaged during production allowing water to enter and causing the reverse lamps, brake lamps, taillamps and rear turn signals to stop working, increasing the risk of a crash. Ford will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear combination lamps.
How to identify it
2025 Lincoln CORSAIR
The hazard
On certain vehicles, the rear combination lamps may have been damaged during production. As a result, water could enter the rear combination lamps and cause the reverse lamps, brake lamps, taillamps and rear turn signals not to work.
Brake lights, reverse lights and/or turn signals that don't work could cause a person not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking, backing up or about to turn. Tail lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible to others. All these issues could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear combination lamps.
