2027 Forest River SALEM RV trailers are affected; the outdoor cooktop’s propane hose may not have been secured correctly, allowing the cooktop to be stowed while the propane hose is still attached and burners can be turned on. Because an outdoor cooktop stowed with the burner on could create a fire risk, Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise them to take their RV trailer to a dealership to have the propane line secured.
