2025 Fountain Tire RETREAD TIRE recall: tires

Retread tires sold by Fountain Tire identified by identification codes RZ314325RS through RZ314925RS are affected. Certain retread tires may not have been manufactured properly, which could cause the tread to separate and the tire to fail, risking loss of control, hazards to others and an increased risk of a crash. Fountain Tire will notify registered owners by email and says to contact them if you have tires with these identification codes or need help inspecting them; affected tires will be replaced with an equivalent retread tire.

How to identify it

2025 Fountain Tire RETREAD TIRE

The hazard

Certain retread tires may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the tread could separate and the tire could fail.

Note: This recall only affects retread tires with identification codes RZ314325RS through RZ314925RS. This voluntary recall is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

A tire failure could cause a loss of control. A tire tread that separates could create a hazard for others. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Fountain Tire will notify registered owners by email to advise you of this problem. You should contact Fountain Tire if you have tires with these identification codes or if you need help inspecting them. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced with an equivalent retread tire.
