2021–2024 Grand Design MOMENTUM FIFTH WHEEL and SOLITUDE FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER recall: suspension

Issue:

On certain RV trailers, the U-bolts that attach the axles to the suspension may not be properly tightened. As a result, an axle could slide back on the spring. This could cause poor handling and lead to a loss of control.

Safety Risk:

A loss of control could create the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the leaf springs. They will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
