2026 Jayco motorhomes — GRANITE RIDGE MOTORHOME, MELBOURNE, QWEST SE and CONDOR — sold in Canada are affected and can be recognised by their 2026 model year and these model names. They were recalled because the taillight warning light may illuminate even when the taillights are functioning, causing the vehicles not to meet certain Canadian regulatory requirements and potentially increasing crash risk. Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise taking the motorhome to a dealership to replace the taillight harness.
How to identify it

2026 Jayco CONDOR
The hazard
On certain motorhomes, the taillight warning light may turn on even when the taillights are working properly. As a result, the motorhomes don't meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
A taillight warning light that doesn't work properly could cause confusion and make the driver unaware if the taillights are working correctly. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the taillight harness.
