Keystone RV trailers, model year 2026 IMPACT and 2026 CARBON, are affected; they are identified as Keystone IMPACT and CARBON 2026 trailers. They were recalled because patio railing hardware may be missing, which could allow the railing to move and cause a person to fall. Keystone advises you not to use the patio until recall repairs are completed, will notify owners by mail, and asks owners to take their RV trailer to a dealership to install the missing patio railing hardware.
How to identify it
2026 Keystone IMPACT
2026 Keystone CARBON
The hazard
On a small number of RV trailers, hardware for the patio railing may be missing. As a result, the railing could move and cause a person to fall.
A railing that moves could create a risk of injury.
What to do
To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises you not to use the patio until the recall repairs have been completed. Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to install the missing patio railing hardware.
