Canada2023–2025 Maserati GRECALE, 2024–2025 Maserati GRANCABRIO, and 2024–2025 Maserati GRANTURISMO vehicles are affected; they can be recognised by these model names and model years. Plugs were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters, allowing horizontal headlamp adjustment which Canadian regulations prohibit and which could reduce visibility or cause glare for oncoming drivers, increasing crash risk. Maserati will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to install plugs over the headlamp adjustment screws.

The hazard
On certain vehicles, plugs were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally. Canadian regulations don't allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built-in aiming device.
Headlamps that aren't properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility and/or glare for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Maserati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install plugs over the headlamp adjustment screws.
