Canada2021–2026 Micro Bird G5 Commercial Bus and 2022–2025 Micro Bird CT‑Series Commercial Bus equipped with a Spheros ceiling‑mounted air conditioning system are affected. The power cable for the air conditioning control board may not have been tightened properly and could loosen and overheat, creating a risk of fire. Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise them to take their bus to a dealership to have the air conditioning control board power cable secured.

The hazard
On certain buses, the power cable for the air conditioning control board may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the cable could loosen and overheat.
Note: This recall only affects certain buses equipped with a Spheros ceiling-mounted air conditioning system.
Wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
What to do
Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a dealership to secure the air conditioning control board power cable.
