The hazard

On certain transit buses, when the hazard lamps are turned on, a software problem could cause the hazard lamp tell-tale indicators in the dash not to work when the ignition switch is in the "OFF" position.

Hazard lamp tell-tale indicators that don't work could cause the driver to be unaware that the hazard lamps are turned on. This could create confusion for other road users and could increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

New Flyer will notify owners in writing and provide you with instructions for how to update the vehicle software. Alternatively, you may contact New Flyer to arrange for a service technician to complete the repairs.
