CanadaCoolant pumps installed on certain 2022–2025 Nova Bus LFS transit buses, or sold as replacement parts, are affected. The cooling pumps for the electrical and/or mechanical cooling packages could fail and cause a loss of power to the wheels, and Nova Bus will notify owners by mail with instructions to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cooling pump(s).

The hazard
On certain transit buses, the recall repairs completed during Transport Canada recall no. 2025-539 may not be effective. As a result, a second inspection and/or repair is required.
This recall is for coolant pumps installed on certain transit buses or sold as a replacement part.
On certain transit buses, the cooling pumps for the electrical and/or mechanical cooling packages could fail and cause a loss of power to the wheels.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-539.
A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A bus that is disabled could result in a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury.
What to do
Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cooling pump(s).
